Consultation and Evidence Base
The City Vision consultation ran from May to August 2011 and received over 1,100 detailed responses and a further 650 informal conversations were held at community events and public meetings.
The full consultation report can be viewed here.
As part of the consultation, members of the G15 Schools Steering Group filmed video diaries, raising issues and posing questions to local leaders.
In response to the young people’s questions, a number of organisations have gone on film to explain what is already being done and how their ideas have been taken on board.
Many thanks to those members of the G15 Group who got involved, watch their views online at: www.gloucester.gov.uk/consultation
Evidence Base
The City Vision Team had initally collated information and past consultations results to paint a picture of Gloucester. This was presented to 100 people on the 13th January and ten key themes were discussed.
The information collected from this event helped form detailed theme chapters which were then presented to three workshops groups. These covered, Social, Economic and Environmental aspects of the plan.
Aspects of these chapters and information from these three events were fed through into the final City Vision draft.
